This is the album that got me into Tool. They are my favorite band and have been for 14 years. It was their cover of No Quarter (my favorite Zeppelin song) that got my attention. The version of Pushit on this album goes deeper into my psyche than any other music that isn't sacred music.

This album sucks - every song sounds the same and the vocals just aren't good. Discharge as a band mostly sucks - the only good songs they wrote were on Realities of War and Decontrol, and even then, it's only like 3 songs that are actually good. I pity people who think Discharge is the end-all-be-all of early '80s punk. You don't even know. This album sounds like kids music compared to some of the shit that's out there. Go on UA-cam and search "The Shitlickers Cracked Cop Skulls." Released in 1982 and blows everything Discharge made out of the water.

I would have honestly preferred they have remastered this instead of releasing fear, or at the very least had a remastered version of this be included wether that had been as a double release like hypnotize and mesmerize or the remasters as bonus tracks
